Short Notice: 【entity-Reserve Bank of India¦canonical_name=Reserve Bank of India】 (RBI) has released the notification for RBI Assistant Recruitment 2026. The recruitment is being conducted for 650 posts of Assistant in various offices of RBI across India. Online application was invited from 16 February to 10 March 2026. Selection will be done through Preliminary Examination, Mains Examination and Language Proficiency Test (LPT).
Current Update: RBI has declared the RBI Assistant Mains Result 2026 on 24 September 2026. Candidates who appeared in the Mains Examination held on 07 June 2026 can now check their result. Mains Admit Card was released on 30 May 2026 and Pre Result was declared on 25 May 2026. Qualified candidates will be called for Language Proficiency Test (LPT) and Document Verification.

Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor Degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks (Pass class for SC/ST/PwBD) from a recognized University. Knowledge of Word Processing on PC is essential.
- Age Limit as on 01/02/2026: Minimum 20 Years and Maximum 28 Years. Candidate must be born between 02/02/1998 and 01/02/2006 (both inclusive).
- Age Relaxation: SC/ST - 5 years, OBC - 3 years, PwBD - 10 years, Ex-Servicemen and other categories as per RBI rules.
- Language Proficiency: Candidates should be proficient in the local language of the State/UT they are applying for.
