Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test 2026 - Primary & Junior Level
Short Notice: Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has conducted the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test UPTET 2026 Advt. No. 01/UPTET/2026. The examination is held for two levels - Primary Level for Class I to V and Junior Level for Class VI to VIII. The online application process was completed between 27 March to 03 May 2026 and the examination was held on 02-04 July 2026.
Current Update: UPTET 2026 Result was declared on 26 August 2026 and Certificate was released on 07 September 2026. Now UPESSC has started the Certificate Correction Process from 25 September 2026. Candidates can download their certificate from certificates.upessc.org and apply for correction with a fee of Rs. 200 if there is any error in their certificate.

Exam Pattern & Syllabus
- Primary Level: Child Development & Pedagogy, Language-I (Hindi), Language-II (English/Urdu/Sanskrit), Mathematics, Environmental Studies - Total 150 Marks, 150 Questions.
- Junior Level: Child Development & Pedagogy, Language-I, Language-II, Mathematics & Science OR Social Studies - Total 150 Marks, 150 Questions.
- Duration: 2 Hours 30 Minutes for each paper.
- Qualifying Marks: 60% for General (90 out of 150), 55% for SC/ST/OBC/PH (82 out of 150).
